Since 1960, the National Trust of Guernsey has been working hard to preserve Guernsey's heritage for future generations. Our latest conservation and restoration project, The Fermain Tower Appeal, features in this short video, together with more examples of our work. Guernsey is one of the Channel Islands and is situated 43 Nm from Cherbourg, France. We leave Cherbourg after 24 hours and arrive in St. Peter Port on Guernsey in the afternoon. The first marina is too shallow and RAN is standing aground every six hours. After three days we move to another marina and can relax. During our stay we get some bad weather, get invited to the yacht club and take a tour around the island. We take a look on RAN on the outside and give you a quick tour.
