A novel way to drive a RIB
The Guernsey Vintage and Classic Tractor Club, with nearly 60 members, meets several times a year for road runs, shows and ploughing competitions. The National Trust of Guernsey are great fans of GVCTC and for about half a dozen times, over the last two years, the tractor club have assembled on the courtyard at the National Trust of Guernsey's Folk and Costume Museum at Saumarez Park. The sun shone and a happy crowd gathered at this unofficial event for GVCTC and National Trust of Guernsey. With thanks to GVCTC for giving a lot of people a lot of smiles. Here’s to the next!

The Guernsey Sailing Trust have been promoting their Sport to a number a Primary Schools during the last couple of weeks. The sessions introduce children to the basics of sailing, and through the use of a simulator, every child is given the chance to sit in the boat and use is working parts used to navigate. Northern Trust's Sports and Social Club organised a coasteering event with Outdoor Guernsey in March 2012. The sea is not exactly warm at this time of the year but that didn't stop everyone enjoying a really invigorating two hours climbing over rocks and jumping into the sea from progressively higher rocks as we made our way around the shore line. Filmed with a GoPro 1080 HD camera (set at 720).
In conjunction with four other Island organisations and with help from Forest Primary School pupils, an apple orchard was planted at National Trust of Guernsey property, Les Caches Farm, on Friday 10th February, 2017. An environmental, community project for future generations to enjoy.
